Rob Lang

Rob Lang is known for his work in both commercial and fine art photography. He uses the camera for the exploration of a wide range of subjects. In his portraits he seeks to reveal the essence of his subjects. In his body studies he celebrates the sculptural aspects of the human form. In his abstracts he invites us to discover the hidden images beneath what appears to the eye, and in so doing we question if the works are those of a painter. Born and raised in New York, Rob received a BA from Syracuse University, and a Masters in studio arts/photography from New York University. His works have been exhibited both nationally and internationally and are in the collections of the International Center of Photography, the offices of FX/Walt Disney, the FOX Broadcasting Company, the Hearst Corporation, as well as many private collections.
