Veronica Primerano

My name is Veronica Primerano, I am currently an artist in Santa Fe, New Mexico. My studio practice involves reaching into the pit of my heart and asking it what it would like my hands to do. My hands are asked to investigate things like verticalities in landscapes, my relationship to soil, shapes and deeply emotional memories and feelings. I cry a lot for a happy person. Making what I want with full agency is a rebellious act against the patriarchal system. My mothers before me are both proud and jealous. I do this for them and future daughters.
