Stephanie West

Stephanie West is a Santa Fe–based artist, instructor, author, and illustrator inspired by the landscapes and light of the Southwest. She specializes in painting on location and is a member of the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico. An experienced educator, West enjoys sharing her process and helping others build confidence in their creative voice. In 2025, she published a New Mexico–themed coloring book, now in its second edition, along with New Mexico True–certified stickers celebrating the state’s official symbols. This Santa Fe Studio Tour marks West’s first time opening her studio to the public. Visitors are invited to view works in progress, explore her creative space, and learn more about the inspirations and techniques behind her paintings.
