Vibrations, music, words and the sounds in nature spark colors in my mind, which I translate with paint into visual art. Painted papers, heavy textures and crackled earth tell the narrative of the colors that I hear. I have synesthesia which is a crossing of the senses. Numbers can produce sounds in my mind which I then translate to color. It all comes together with texture and discovered objects to complete the mixed media on panels. Travel and curiosity are my art motivators, and you will find these attributes in all my work from paintings to sculptures to installation art.
