Artist Statement
In her landscape paintings Monika loves to capture a sense of place. Painting on location (en plein air) allows her to combine her passion for the outdoors with her passion for painting. Typically Monika uses a limited palette of 6 or at most 8 colors which creates color harmony in her paintings.
