I breathe in the sky and feel eternity. I am just a speck, yet, immense with purpose. I create to convey my wonder as together we spin on a living orb, revolving around a star. I feel the dreams of my foremothers alive in my bones. My venture into art began when I was three. I remember the feel of the brush, the scent of the oil paint, and the delightful sight of the colors smearing onto canvas. Every part of my being was immersed. . . . until I heard my father shout, “What are you doing to my painting?!” I became an avid reader, enchanted by ancient goddess stories that were told for thousands of years before they were written. Divine females gave birth to the future, healed disease, created the arts, and guarded the innocent. Whenever I had blank paper, I drew them into reality. Today, I resurrect their wisdom with paints on canvas. My magical, surreal landscapes derive from my feelings about exploring nature and listening to music.
