I've been fascinated by wheel-thrown pottery since age seven yet I didn’t try it until sixty years later. It was love at first touch. I aim for an “un-modern” contemporary look, blending surface design, experimentation, and serendipity to create pieces that connect past and present through technique and expression. Some of my work is actually useful, like bowls, vases and cups but mostly I hope it's just pleasing to the eye.
