Jane Frederick

Since moving to New Mexico a few years ago, the natural beauty around Santa Fe inspires Jane to record it in paint. She loves the feel of sunshine on her shoulders, the wind in her hair, the smells of nature and the freedom of painting outdoors (en plein air). She finds it to be the best way to experience the dramatic scenery and explore the desert southwest. She has been painting in oils for over 20 years, but has always enjoyed painting even as a child. She started pursuing art more seriously as a way to relieve stress from a high pressure career. Now that she's out of the daily grind it’s just a fun way to relax and enjoy nature.
