Sculptural Vessels & Masks

Artist Statement

My journey in clay is inspired by my love of world art, traditional cultures and the bounty of the earth. Mask making has become a staple of my collection featuring both human and animals adorned with basketry, shells and bead work. My vessels are primarily zoomorphic featuring animals and people emerging and receding. In each piece, I aspire to express beauty, an appreciation for the absurd and my connection to the natural world. Much fun, much love goes into all my creations.
