Collage is a process of combining collectible memorabilia – vintage maps, postcards, or other found materials – and creating artistic and compelling compositions. Workshop participants will explore different ways of combining textures, colors and found objects and will develop design and composition principles that lend structure to their creations.

In a small-group setting, students receive one-on-one feedback for simplifying and enhancing their collages and by session’s end, each student will create two or more collages suitable for framing!

All tools and supplies including an array of handmade, imported Mulberry and other decorative papers are provided to workshop participants.
